The Problem

When travelling abroad… Micronex Systems had a French customer for a grinder/dryer unit, but equipment must be certified for compliance with numerous European Directives in order to be sold within the European Union.

Our Approach

We worked through certification as a technical partner, while remaining an independent third party. Our role started with a review of the various legislation and we outlined a compliance strategy. We then led a formal risk assessment and provided technical oversight of the mitigating strategies and their match with requirements.

The Results

The machinery achieved CE Marking, and is free to be sold within Europe. The first unit has been installed and is in operation in northeast France.
